"Publish where and how openly? An Introduction to Open Access" is the title of the first webinar organised by the German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) as part of the open-access.network project. The first presentation in the monthly series will provide a general introduction to the topic of Open Access. More and more research funding bodies and institutions expect Open Access, the free and legally regulated access to research results. But how can publications be made optimally available to the community? In this half-hour webinar, our speakers Jessika Rücknagel (open-access.network project, TIB) and Dr Stefan Schmeja (Publication Services, TIB) will answer these and other questions:
- What types of Open Access publication are there? Which ones should I consider?
- Where can I publish in accordance with Open Access? How do I find a suitable journal?
- What do research funders expect?
Scientists, students and all other interested parties are invited to attend.
Registration is not required. The webinar room will open on Thursday, 23 July 2020 at 13:50h. Click here to participate.
