From 2 to 4 July 2024, the KIT Library at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) will provide an insight into the current Open Access activities on site as part of an Open Access Staff Week. The event is being organised as part of the BMBF-funded project open-access.network together with the Kommunikations-, Informations- , Medienzentrum (KIM) at the Universität Konstanz and will take place over three days on site in Karlsruhe. Employees from other libraries will have the opportunity to learn about best practices as well as current challenges in the implementation of Open Access - for example, with regard to academic publication services. The event format offers a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience and aims to strengthen cooperation between institutions.
Applications can be submitted here. Please note that the event is limited to 10 people and active participation is encouraged. The event language is German. There is no participation fee. Application deadline is 31.05.2024.
