From 5 to 7 December 2023, Braunschweig University Library will give an insight into its current Open Access activities within the framework of a Staff Week. The Staff Week is organised within the BMBF-funded project open-access.network by the Communication, Information, Media Centre (KIM) of the University of Konstanz and takes place over three days on site in Braunschweig. Staff from other libraries will have the opportunity to learn about best practices as well as current challenges in the implementation of open access - e.g. regarding cost monitoring or funding rules for publications. The event format offers a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience and aims to strengthen cooperation between institutions.
Interested persons can apply here (only in German, as the event will be held in German). Please note that the event is limited to 10 people and active participation is encouraged. The event language is German. There is no participation fee. Application deadline is 05.11.2023.
