The oa.atlas from open-access.network provides information on open science and open access strategies and services offered by academic institutions, as well as on activities at the state level and within the relevant federal ministry. Data on universities in Austria is now also integrated. This marks an important step toward a more comprehensive mapping of open access and open science activities in the German-speaking region. With this expansion, the oa.atlas creates a better foundation for exchange, networking, and the strategic development of open science.
Expansion to Austria
Austrian universities can now be found via the oa.atlas, with additional institutions to follow. The editorial team is currently working to continuously expand the content. Employees at Austrian universities are invited to review their institutions’ entries and, if necessary, to supplement or correct them using the review form.
About the oa.atlas – a community-based service
The oa.atlas provides a structured overview of open access strategies and services at academic institutions, as well as across the German-speaking region. Users can find and filter institutions via map or list view and view key variables such as open access officers or the signing of the Berlin Declaration. The “Federal States” checkbox allows users to access the state-specific dossiers.
