The BMBF project open-access.network now offers a blog as an extension to the open access information pages. The oa.blog can be used to publish articles on current developments in the field of open access and open science, including from a personal perspective. The new service also allows a wide range of formats for which there was previously no space on the information pages. In addition to contributions to debates, project results, conference and workshop reports, information contributions and interviews can also be published.
Space for interaction and discussion
In addition to academics, we invite representatives of learned societies, open access focus and working groups, research funders, academic institutions, open access projects, publishers, infrastructures and other relevant stakeholders to publish articles on the oa.blog. The blog also offers the opportunity to create constructive discussions from opinion pieces. The comment function enables interaction between authors and readers. The texts on the oa.blog will appear in both German and English in order to develop an international reach.
