Dr Lorenz Weinberg is a historian and academic librarian. He completed a library traineeship at the University Library of Freie Universität Berlin from 2023 to 2025 and has been working at the Open Research Office on the open-access.network project since November 2025. His areas of focus are: networking, community building and maintaining open science networks, as well as information services, professional development and science communication.
