Benedikt Krüger studied history, theology, and philosophy with the aim of becoming a teacher, and after earning his doctorate, he completed a library internship. He then worked in the Research Department at the Europa-Universität Viadrina (Frankfurt/Oder) and in the Editorial Department at De Gruyter Verlag (Berlin). Since 2025, he has been employed as a research associate at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Library – Lower Saxony State Library (Hanover).
