SPARC Europe (Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition) prepares an overview of the Open Access and Open Science infrastructure in Europe. To this end, the initiative calls on all European Open Access (OA), Open Science (OS) and Open Scholarship services to participate in the survey "Scoping the OA & OS Infrastructure (OSI) Landscape in Europe". The aim of the survey is to gain a basic understanding of the current situation of open resources, many of which are considered financially unstable, even though some of them support OA and OS infrastructure. The findings of the survey - conducted for the European OA and OS community and "Invest in Open Infrastructure" (IOI) - will contribute to the discussions on how to secure these services in the future. SPARC Europe also aims to achieve greater visibility and understanding of the many OA and OS services offered in Europe. The information gained from the survey should in future help donors - governments, funding agencies and organisations, institutions, libraries, service providers and others - to develop effective strategies for financing essential OA and OS infrastructure.
