As a result of Springer Nature's first publishing agreement in the Asia-Pacific region, scholars from the Council of Australian Librarians (CAUL) can now publish their scientific findings open access (OA) in over 2,000 journals. Members of all 47 universities in Australia and New Zealand, as well as seven other external institutions, can also access the Springer, Palgrave Macmillan and Adis portfolios and the Academic Journals on nature.com. The goal is to publish approximately 3,000 articles per year and thus increase the outreach of the research results of all participating institutions.
