The long-standing E&G - Quaternary Science Journal of the German Quaternary Association (DEUQUA), is now also available as an Open Access journal. At the same time, all previous issues from 1951 to 2010 have been digitised and the full-texts of the articles are now freely available online. Hence the new Web offering constitutes a comprehensive and steadily growing archive of peer-reviewed quaternary science research focussing on Central Europe. By taking these measures, DEUQUA has joined the ranks of the scholarly societies who have committed themselves to Open Access.
