The Open Access Netzwerk Austria (OANA) was established in 2012 under the auspices of Universities Austria (UNIKO) and the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) with the aim of coordinating Open Access activities in Austria.
Coordinated by UNIKO and the FWF, OANA comprises representatives of all public universities and many private universities, universities of applied sciences, non-university research institutions, and funding agencies, who are working together to plan, coordinate, and organise Austrian OA activities.
