The goal is to bring Open Access out of the virtual sphere and into the real world, thereby helping to create more publicity for it. The shop gives Open Access enthusiasts an opportunity to demonstrate their support openly. The product range includes t-shirts, mugs and bags; some of the items can be customised with the customer's favourite colour. Because open-access.net makes all the motifs available on a commission-free basis, it does not receive a share of the proceeds.
