The Swiss company Point Software AG has launched Sciencegate, a search platform for Open Access documents. Sciencegate's internal database currently contains over 26 million data records relating to Open Access articles; 1.8 million of these articles can be accessed directly via the platform. Newly published OA articles are integrated into the database within 24 hours.
