In the global publishing landscape, not all authors have the opportunity to publish in open access (OA) - especially due to financial barriers. OASPA (Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association) has developed preliminary recommendations to improve equal opportunities in all OA publishing formats. The association is now calling on the international open access and publishing community to comment on the draft paper Increasing equity in financial approaches to open access: draft for comment by 1 July 2024.
