The countdown has begun! This year's Open Access Days (OAD) will take place in Göttingen in just a few days time - on 4 and 5 October. Over the years, the OAD have developed into an established market place for the exchange of information on all aspects of Open Access. For the fourth time, participants from the science, library and publishing sectors will get together to discuss the latest developments in a wide variety of topical areas such as repositories, OA journals, OA publishing models, access to research data, research funders, and retrodigitisation. Within the framework of the parallel exhibition on Open Access, which will take place on both days, Open Access projects, publishers, journals and repositories will introduce themselves, and various service providers will present their activities in the area of OA.
The Open Access Days 2010 are being hosted by the University of Goettingen in cooperation with the operators of the information platform open-access.net.
