The Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts (MWK) of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg has published a concept paper on the "further development of the scientific infrastructure in Baden-Württemberg". Entitled "E-Science - Science in a New Environment," the paper was developed in collaboration with various working groups. It presents "strategic concepts for the concrete needs and development opportunities" in the areas of licensing electronic information media, digitisation, Open Access, research data management, and virtual research environments.
