Science needs a free, unrestricted, and fast exchange of information. In order to continue forcefully pursuing this goal, the Alliance of German Science Organisations launched the second phase of its "Digital Information" priority initiative on 1 January, thereby ensuring the continued coordination of the basic professional and political decisions of the partner organisations in the area of digital research infrastructures and bundling of competencies and resources. The initiative will continue to focus on improving access to scientific findings and to ensuring that this access is as open as possible. Further information here
