The second oa-net-workshop will take place at the Central National Library of Economics (ZBW) in Hamburg on 26 and 27 January 2009.
The focus will be on the following topics:
- Innovative OA ideas and implementation strategies: How can Open Access be established more firmly in scientific institutions and organisations?
- Open Access and publishing houses: What possibilities and opportunities does Open Access offer publishers? What form could dialogue and cooperation with publishers take?
Participation is free of charge. The registration form you will find here.
Oa-net-work is a network of multipliers which is open to all those who are actively involved in the area of Open Access (OA) and who deal with the subject in their everyday work. It gives members the opportunity to exchange ideas via different communication channels and to support each other in promoting OA. The oa-net-workshops which take place on a regular basis are intended to provide further training in OA and, above all, to promote networking among the members. If you would also be interested in becoming an active member of oa-net-work, please contact Anja Kersting () or Rubina Vock ().
