Find the right open access book publisher

Veröffentlicht am

Researchers who want to publish open access books can now use the expanded oa.finder to quickly and specifically find suitable academic publishers and search for different publication types: Journal article, monograph, edited volume or conference proceedings.

Extension of a proven research tool

The oa.finder was developed at Bielefeld University Library during the first funding phase of the BMBF's open-access.network project and enables users to search for publication-relevant information in almost 57,000 international journals. With the expanded search option to include academic publishers who publish Open Access books, oa.finder will become the central information and research platform for academic publishing in all subject areas. The new function is based on a comprehensive data collection that has been specially created for this purpose. In a survey, academic publishers in the DACH region provided insights into their range of publications, quality assurance, licensing models and cost structures. Interested scientific publishers can register in the oa.finder.
