OA-STRUKTKOMM

The aim of the project is to further advance the process of simplified development of various OA publication structures started in the predecessor project OPEN-ACCESS-Hochschulverlag (OA-HVerlag) and to support it with additional modules. In addition to knowledge transfer for the comprehensive introduction of the already developed workflow model, a standardised communication structure will be developed to make the data exchange between the systems involved in the workflow more robust and compatible. Furthermore, the publication server developed in the previous project will be developed further as an "out-of-the-box" product and research will be conducted into the possibilities and limitations offered by a largely automated typesetting process. The aim is to make the publication infrastructure for OA publications, which is currently very heterogeneous, more efficient and standardize it.
